Eww, you're wrong; don't do that!
All birds, including quakers, should be weaned to a pelleted diet that has been supplemented with fruits and vegetables. Seed diets are fattening, and not at all healthy. Seeds are fine to give as treats periodically, but not as a total diet.
If you don't know which pellets your bird likes or would like to try some out, check here for a list of companies that will send you free samples of different pelleted food.
